Andreas Papadopoulos
Lighting Designer

Andreas got his degree in Stage Management and lighting from the Guildford School of Acting, University of Surrey. Since 1998 he has been working as the technical director in Papadopoulos and Schinis Productions Ltd and as a freelance lighting designer based in Limassol, Cyprus. He has lit for numeral productions in Cyprus and abroad, in some of the most popular theatres around the world. His working experience includes ballet performances, musicals, theatrical performances, operas, concerts. He has also lit buildings and events.

Some of his best works include, Aida (1999, with the Bolshoi opera theatre), Jose Carreras concert (2000, Nicosia), Vangelis tribute (2006, Cyprus), Greek Legend (2008, Casino du Leban), Pentahedron dance performance (2000, Hermitage theatre St Petersburg), Tribute to Abba (2005), Hansel and Gretel (Cyprus opera society), The Barber of Seville (with St Petersburg Mussorgksy state opera), George Dalaras concerts for Cyprus (Royal Drury Lane, London), Tribute to Theodorakis and Hatjidakis (New opera of Moscow), Oliver (1999), Cats (2001).
